In ten works I count down from nine to zero, the moment of counting is a mantra that does not allow a mental wandering.

Light and time create the entrance to my paintings, in a direct and conceptual way I am questioning my imagination of what I am seeing before and after the imprint.  This project started with arranging photos taken by myself and from the achieve of my grandfather and continues with objects such as textile and pipes that are arranged on the canvas. 

In the next step I investigate with the medium cyanotype, where the imprint of light and time create the color tonalities.

The method of cyanotype has a conceptual limitation with the color blue, this subjects the paintings to an imposed system that I use to simplify the work - it is a reactive interaction with stencil shapes and white surfaces all on graphic elements (signs).
